Schooner Woodwind

Thank you for a great sailing season. See you in April 2025!

Light and Shifty

We spent all day with winds coming from the West North West. In shore it was hot but as soon as you got out on the Bay a bit the winds picked up and the sailing was good.

We saw several car carriers heading up into the port of Baltimore, so if you were waiting  for a new car it is probably here.

The winds though steady were very shifty. We would experience wind shifts from 45 degrees to 90 degrees. Once we headed back up toward the Severn river they steadied out a little more.

The good news was that we had wind and it was a great day of sailing. We had between 20 and 30 people on every trip. Pretty good for a Monday!!

Thank you to Roger Miller for coming out on our sunset sail and sharing stories about the history of Annapolis and some of the sites within the town.

Another day on the water comes to an end……
