And what a Monday it was. Not your ordinary beginning of the week day. Lots of people stayed in the area after the big holiday weekend and came sailing with us today.
We had plenty of breeze today and with just the right amount of cloud cover to keep the temperature down it was pleasant sailing all day.
On our 1st trip we had a family from Cleveland whose son was in a Lacrosse tournament in Frederick and wanted to see Annapolis before heading home.
On our 2nd trip we had a special guest captain. Her name wasEllen and she did a wonderful job steering the Woodwind.
Ellen and her family were visiting from just outside of Pittsburgh.
Our sunset sail was fantastic. There was a couple out celebrating their 10th anniversary. They had there wedding reception on one of Woodwind’s sister ships called the Imagine that used to be based out of Annapolis. Imagine is no longer here but is in service in Boston under a different name so they did the next best thing and came out with us. Congrats on 10 yrs. you guys!
