September Wine in the Wind – Discovering Tempranillo

Join us for a three hour sail around the Bay sampling wonderful wine from Spain. A representative from the wineries will introduce you to these special wines. This will be a relaxing sail including afternoon hors d’oeuvres, soft drinks and four samples of wine. Depart Annapolis at 1:30pm, return at 4:30pm.
Price: $99 per person. Maximum 35 guests.

Rose – Ribera del Duero
50% Tempranillo, 50% Merlot
A barrel aged wine with bright aromas of strawberries
and black currants framed by spices and balsamic notes.
A charming wine with surprising intensity.
Roble Tempranillo– Ribera del Duero
The grapes barely kiss the barrel creating a wine pure in flavor.
Fresh and bright with the old world note of earth and stone.
Crianza- Rioja
12 months aged in American and French oak offering a wine of
firm structure and ripe chewy flavors.
Reserva – Rioja
Tempranillo all grown up. The additional aging evolves the flavors
with broad ripe berry flavors framed by sweet vanilla bean and
Asian spice.
