Annapolis has a fascinating history, from its foundation in 1649 as Providence, to the “Golden Age” of the 1770’s, to its brief role as first peacetime capital of the United States in 1783, the founding of the U.S. Naval Academy, and onward to today. You’ll get an introduction to this town’s fascinating past, all within sight of the city and waterways where it all happened.

  • Tickets go on sale six days prior to the date you want to sail.

Michael Bors is an Annapolis native, history enthusiast, and lover of sailing, kayaking, and paddle boarding. During the school year, he is a PhD candidate in philosophy at the Catholic University of America (Washington, DC). During the summer he gives historical, boat, and drinks tours through Tour Annapolis, a small business he founded to share his love of Annapolis with other people.
