Brunch Sail with Michael Tolcher
August 30, 2020 @ 11:30 am - 2:30 pm$99.00
An Intimate, All Ages Acoustic Show with MICHAEL TOLCHER aboard the Schooner Woodwind for a concert on a beautiful sailing boat, including a light delicious brunch. Michael Tolcher will play acoustically while at anchor in a secluded cove. He will play for over an hour and after the performance we will set sail on the 74-foot, classic wooden schooner, Woodwind.
Michael Tolcher is an American singer/songwriter that blends southern, soul, improv, sincerity and comedy all together to form his art. Best experienced at his live show — he captures his audience and leads them thru a vocal adventure of artistic, meaningful, musical expression.
He’s a Georgia Boy having grown up just South of Atlanta – and still resides just West of the city. He travels for about 30-40% of his time these days – mostly in the US. He calls it lifestyle touring: “I like to be where I want to be, doing what I want to do”
Most of Michael’s success in the industry has come through licensing music to companies such as Hilton, NBC, Disney, HBO, ABC and others. His songs “Mission Responsible” and “Speed Feels Better” charted on Billboard and Michael had a decent amount of radio success in the early-2000’s. When it comes to the Music Business, Michael has certainly placed his emphasis on the Music.
“Making money with my music allows me to make more music…and invest in my family’s future. My American Dream is a modest one.”
According to Michael, one of the best aspects of his career so far has been touring and opening for some of his favorite bands. Such as : Blues Traveler, Dave Matthews, Sister Hazel, G-Love and Special Sauce, Pat McGee Band, Hanson, Maroon 5, Gavin Degraw, Collective Soul, and most recently REO Speedwagon and Chicago.
Michael has also enjoyed the TV spotlight a time or two appearing on “American Dreams”, “Jimmy Kimmel”, “Carson Daly”, and ESPN.
If you’re not too bored already, I could also tell you that Michael has 3 albums available on all formats…he self-produced his last 2 and is working on a 4th release now…due out in 2020. Goals? Michael’s goal has remained the same throughout his career “to ignite the human spirit in myself and others, push the envelope of vocal/lyrical improv, and put healthy food on the table.” #LesRoll
Raise the sails, steer the boat, sit back, relax and meet Michael while sailing the Bay.
