Steve Carr attended the U.S. Naval Academy and rode his bicycle twice across the United States. He worked for fifteen years at the Grand Canyon, ran a successful political and environmental consulting company, and was in charge of state trails for the Maryland Department of Natural Resources before retiring. Steve has been a competitive sailor and covered yachting races around the world. He leads FREE! Annapolis Walking Tours and performs at nightclubs in Washington, D.C. for Story District. Steve has published six books about the American Southwest, and his latest Jenny Hatch murder mystery, “Antelope Girl,” is fast becoming a bestseller.

During our sunset sail, we will unravel the guarded government secrets that have long remained hidden and hear about a mysterious place where many battles were fought and history often grudgingly preserved over the course of America’s 250 years of turbulent history.
