Gareth’s expressive voice cuts straight into the core of his listener’s emotions. The passion in his singing\, along with the relatable lyrics have brought fans along with him on an extraordinary musical journey. Through Asher’s music he brings together a community to make this world a better place. \nAsher\, son of musical parents\, latched onto rock and roll before he turned five. He grew up in the Appalachian foothills of West Georgia\, listening to his parents’ rock and roll band and singing along with the records of great artists like Don Henley\, Jackson Browne\, Bob Seager\, and Bruce Springsteen. The day he picked up a guitar and strummed it\, he knew he’d found his instrument. Passionate about singing\, he wrote his first song at age 15 and was jamming with local performers as soon as they would let him in the clubs to play. He continued working on his songwriting and guitar playing while a student at the local university and soon became the featured entertainer in local venues\, where his passionate voice delivering original lyrics—the kind that makes you want to sit up and listen–quickly developed a loyal audience. \nGareth began his professional musical career in 2002 as the lead singer in the four-piece guitar-driven alternative rock band\, Illbreak. Illbreak’s debut album on Imprint Records\, The Flood was released in 2005. It was around that time that Asher put out his first solo record\, No Reality. In addition to releasing multiple records over the years\, Asher has several collaborations including Get It Right featuring Nappy Roots in 2011\, and One Day featuring Niko Moon in 2014. \nOne of Asher’s greatest collaborations began in 2011 when he crossed paths with Nicki Thrailkill. These kindred spirits then went on to perform as Gareth Asher + the Earthlings and then in 2017 as Ink + Ash. They released Defend the Flame in 2019. Gareth has now returned to his roots as a solo artist and has just released his 7th studio album ‘The Time Is Now’. \nAs a touring artist\, Asher has shared the stage with Shawn Mullins\, Glen Phillips (Toad the Wet Sprocket)\, Emerson Hart (Tonic)\, Angie Aparo\, Corey Smith\, Sister Hazel\, Collective Soul\, 3 Doors Down\, Steve Cropper and many more. \nAsk fans what they like best about Gareth Asher and they have a simple reply: the passion in his voice\, and the lyrics they connect with. \n“Gareth has the most soulful voice I have ever heard. The first time I heard his music I just had to stop and take it in. I imagine that is what it was like for those who heard Ray Charles or John Lennon for the first time.” – Holly Firfer (92.9 Dave FM On-Air\, Atlanta & Company) \nIn comments likening Asher’s voice to that of famed tenors such as Jeff Buckley\, Ray Lamontagne\, and even Cat Stevens\, record and session producer Charlie Peacock describes Gareth Asher as “solid in all the ways we need a decidedly American singer-songwriter to be.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/2″][vc_single_image image=”25921″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center” css=””][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][/vc_tta_section][/vc_tta_accordion][/vc_column][/vc_row]

SUMMARY:Full Moonshine Sail
DESCRIPTION:[vc_row gap=”35″][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_column_text css=””]Sail with us on the Chesapeake Bay while the full moon rises on the horizon plus we have added a moonshine tasting from Pathfinder Farm and Distillery. Sample three\, 2-oz cocktails made with their moonshine while sailing on a classic\, 74-foot schooner. When finished with the sampling you may purchase your favorite cocktails (or beer or wine) to enjoy for the rest of the sail. \nWe invite you to raise the sails\, steer the boat\, or sit back and relax with a cold beverage. Full moon rises at 7:07 pm. And of course\, we hope we have a cloudless sky\, but we sail regardless of the forecast of cloudiness. \nNestled in historic Pleasant Valley\, Pathfinder Farm is proud to bring you the finest spirits from our farm to your glass. Using heritage red corn and Appalachian Mountain spring water\, they small-batch distill and bottle family favorite recipes to provide you pleasure with each sip! \nNon-GMO Bloody Butcher Red Corn is the base for the moonshine and whiskey. It’s mashed with pure Appalachian Mountain spring water from the farm. They ferment open top in 150 gallon batches. The final distillation\, the spirit run\, is small batch distilled in our 150 gallon moonshine still. \nTheir moonshine is flavored using simple\, natural ingredients and to showcase the fine corn whiskey and fruit infusions.[/vc_column_text][vc_custom_heading text=”Details” use_theme_fonts=”yes”][vc_column_text css=””] \n\nDeparts from Annapolis Waterfront Hotel\nTickets include a 2 hour sail aboard the Schooner Woodwind\, tax and 2 ounce pours of each of the 3 moonshine cocktails\nMaximum 30 guests.\nWe really do sail\, so wear soft soled shoes. And please\, feel free to raise the sails\, steer the boat\, or sit back and relax.\n\n[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1722023199407{border-top-width: 1px !important;border-right-width: 1px !important;border-bottom-width: 1px !important;border-left-width: 1px !important;padding-top: 25px !important;padding-right: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;padding-left: 25px !important;background-color: #dff2fe !important;border-left-style: initial !important;border-right-style: initial !important;border-top-style: initial !important;border-bottom-style: initial !important;border-radius: 5px !important;border-color: #cfebfe !important;}” el_class=”beth-box”]Cocktails to include: \n\nApple Pie a la Mode: One part Apple Pie Moonshine topped up with two parts cream soda.\nBlueberry Lemonade: One part Blueberry Moonshine topped up 2 parts with two parts lemonade. After cruising around Mexico in a sailboat for a year and a half\, we decided to leave the sailing life behind us and found ourselves in Pleasant Valley to be near family. We’re excited to see where Nate’s wild idea of starting a farm distillery takes us. DESCRIPTION:[vc_row gap=”35″][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]Bay Ridge Resort was developed in 1879 as a grand Victorian summer resort with a large frame hotel on the bluff near Tolly Point.
Full moon rises at 8:14 pm. DESCRIPTION:[vc_row gap=”35″][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]Bay Ridge Resort was developed in 1879 as a grand Victorian summer resort with a large frame hotel on the bluff near Tolly Point. In the mid-1900s\, Carr and Sparrow beaches were the birthplace of jazz and blues performers such as James Brown\, B.B. King\, Tina Turner and others. DESCRIPTION:[vc_row gap=”35″][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]Learn the forgotten story of the lost town of “Providence”\, the first Annapolis. It was an extension of the conflicts surrounding the English Civil War\, pitting the forces of Puritan settlers against the Catholic forces aligned with Lord Baltimore\, then Lord Proprietor of the colony of Maryland. He is an environmental photographer\, conservationist\, and storyteller. James’ photography is heavily influenced by the Chesapeake Bay. His photographs highlight the working men and women of the Bay and the environmental issues he champions. James works for the Coastal Conservation Association and has been a volunteer with Chesapeake Bay Foundation’s oyster gardening program since he was a young boy. He is actively involved in the Chesapeake Oyster Alliance and has testified before the Maryland Senate and Atlantic Fisheries Commission on environmental issues. He has prioritized bridging the gap between policy work and waterman with the common goal of maintaining a healthy Chesapeake Bay.\nJames’ boat\, PorkChop\, has given him the opportunity to see things on the bay that many people don’t get the chance to see. He realized early on that you can tell a powerful story through the lens of a camera. Through this literal lens James tells the story of the Chesapeake Bay and her waterways\, the living things beneath her surface\, and the people who work and play on her.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_single_image source=”featured_image” img_size=”full” alignment=”center”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row disable_element=”yes”][vc_column][vc_tta_accordion title_tag=”h5″ section_title_tag=”h5″ color=”sky” spacing=”20″ active_section=”36″ no_fill=”true” collapsible_all=”true”][vc_tta_section title=”Click on Edit Section to Change Title” tab_id=”Change-title-use-dashes-and-spaces63f7-097e”][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/2″][vc_custom_heading text=”About” use_theme_fonts=”yes”][vc_column_text]I am text block.
