After a short stint in film and television\, he began his music career in earnest\, writing and recording songs that would quickly earn him the LA Music Award for Best Male Singer/Songwriter. In 2012\, after several albums and EP releases\, Lucca took third place on NBC’s “The Voice\,” earning himself a record deal with coach Adam Levine’s 222 Records. He has toured alongside such artists as Sara Bareilles\, Jonny Lang\, Marc Anthony\, Maroon 5\, Kelly Clarkson\, and Gabe Dixon of Tedeschi Trucks Band. \nAs a public speaker\, Lucca has sewn together his craft of storytelling and musical performance into a form often referred to as a “keynote concert”\, invigorating audiences\, both young and old\, with his personal yet captivating presence. During the pandemic of 2020\, Lucca curated the Mo’Verb Lounge Sessions: a bi-monthly Live stream webcast series with themes and content contributed by his wildly devoted fans. No buffets allowed. \n\n		\n	\n\n	\n		\n		\n			\n		\n	\nAbout David Gendell's BookAbout David Gendell's Book\n	\n		\n			Lifelong Annapolis sailor David Gendell has written the first book on the iconic Thomas Point Shoal Lighthouse. “Thomas Point Shoal Lighthouse: A Chesapeake Bay Icon” was published by The History Press in 2020 and has been receiving strong reviews within the lighthouse community and beyond. \nU.S. Lighthouse Society Vice President says\, “…an informative and enjoyable book that weaves an entertaining story about the lighthouse…” Bill Wagner of the Capital Gazette Newspapers writes\, “…meticulously researched\, thoroughly detailed\, and well written…” And America’s Cup winner and author Gary Jobson asserts\, “Once you start reading ‘Thomas Point Shoal Lighthouse’ you won’t put it down.” \nThis beloved lighthouse was built in 1875 and is one of only 12 lighthouses designated as a National Historic Landmark. The book covers the history of the lighthouse\, its keepers\, and the ongoing preservation efforts. A portion of the proceeds from sales of the book are donated to the lighthouse preservation effort. DESCRIPTION:Appointed the Musical Goodwill Ambassadors by the City of Annapolis and the Maritime Republic of Eastport\, the Eastport Oyster Boys love to share their musical celebration and stories of life on the Chesapeake Bay. For over two decades they have educated\, amused and delighted thousands with their wit\, wisdom and special message of stewardship and appreciation for the Bay and its unique maritime culture and history. The Oyster Boys’ simple philosophy is wrapped up in the three basic necessities of life “a good hat\, a good dog and a good boat.”\n\nThe “Boys” are known for their engaging and interactive presence with audiences. Along with their original songs of the area\, the Boys share an abbreviated\, humorous ever so slightly modified history of the Bay and its unique culture and characters. Most of all\, audiences will remember the good fun they had and will go home with a bit of the Chesapeake in their blood. \nThe Oyster Boy duo is a collaboration of longtime musicians and shipmates\, Kevin Brooks and Tom Guay\, two of the Chesapeake region’s finest and most experienced\, sailors\, entertainers and historians. The boys entertain their audiences with a variety of instrumentation including acoustic guitars\, banjo\, fiddle and even the hammered dulcimer! \nThough calling the waterman’s village of the Maritime Republic of Eastport home\, the Oyster Boys music has been appreciated nationwide and as far as the shores of Nova Scotia\, Ireland and Europe. DESCRIPTION:Its all heart playing music from head to toe.\n​\nThe energetic one-man-band has been on the road since 2014 after the release the self titled EP which includes the highly requested “Federal Hill.” The music has found new life – the sound of a new wave of beach americana and alt-country music buzzing in the Mid-Atlantic.\n​\nNew singles “Amen to That” & “Gunpowder River” are available on all music platforms. DESCRIPTION:Deanna Dove\, Island Girl comes from Broomes Island\, MD. \n“I grew up loving the experience of being out on the water and catching my first hard crab when I was eight years old. I have been singing just as long and sang in church with my two sisters. I started playing guitar when I was 12 years old in church and when I started writing songs they were\, of course\, reflections of my life and times out on the Patuxent River and Chesapeake Bay. My music has a Bonnie Raitt/Sheryl Crow vibe\, and it goes down well with your favorite beverage in hand! The Woodwind is one of my favorite performances of the summer. We always have fun with the guests on the Woodwind and have them singing along and doing hand-jive to some of my original songs.
