SUMMARY:Classic Wooden Boat Regatta
DESCRIPTION:Participate in the National Sailing Hall of Fame Classic Wooden Boat Regatta. They have invited the Woodwinds’ to participate in the race in the “Spirit of Tradition Class”. \nThe course is approximately 5.4 NM and takes place in the Severn River. It is a 3 lap race with pursuit style race. Each boat has a rating\, and by the rating they will get a start time. The pursuit style race challenges the competitors to sail through the other race boats to win the regatta. This will be an amazing trip for photography (hint B&W or sepia tone) of these old\, gorgeous boats. \nThis is going to be a fun\, challenging race! Join the crew! \nDeparts Annapolis Waterfront Hotel Dock at 11:00 am and returns to Annapolis Waterfront Hotel Dock at 2:30pm.  Ticket Price includes soft drinks and bottled water and tax.  Our cash bar includes a selection of Craft Beer\, Wine & Bubbly! \nReduced Ticket Price – not including Bagged Lunch (the order has already been placed with our caterer).  Be sure to bring your own lunch to enjoy aboard.  Lunch must be self contained (boxed or bagged) – no buffets or displays will be allowed aboard. \n\n\nCheck out the National Sailing Hall of Fame’s coverage from last year here.  The participating boats will be on display on Saturday (other than the Woodwinds).

We were so excited to hear that he wanted to come back to Annapolis and go for a sail! \nTony Lucca will play acoustically while at anchor in a secluded cove. He will play for over an hour and after the performance we will set sail on the 74-foot\, classic wooden schooner\, Woodwind. Raise the sails\, steer the boat\, sit back\, relax and meet Tony while sailing the Bay. \nRaised in Waterford\, Michigan\, Lucca began singing at age 3; by 12 he was writing and playing in Detroit-area bands. As a teen\, he lived in Orlando\, Florida\, where he worked for four seasons on the Disney Channel’s “Mickey Mouse Club” alongside such future superstars as Britney Spears\, Christina Aguilera\, and *Nsync’s Justin Timberlake and JC Chasez. Lucca went the Internet route and sold his first two independent releases through his own website. DESCRIPTION:An Intimate\, All Ages Acoustic Show with PAUL PFAU aboard the Schooner Woodwind for a concert on a beautiful sailing boat. \nPaul Pfau (rhymes with “wow”) is an award-winning singer-songwriter living in Nashville\, TN. After graduating from college with an economics degree in 2010 he decided to forgo the 9 to 5 for a career as a recording artist. \nIn 2011 Paul was nominated Best New Artist by the Washington Area Music Association. In 2012 he began recording his debut full-length album\, Happy To Be\, with double-platinum recording engineer Sean Russell (Bruno Mars)\, which was mixed and mastered by grammy-award-winning engineers Jeff Juliano (John Mayer\, Dave Matthews Band) and Brad Blackwood (Maroon 5\, Keith Urban). In 2013 Happy To Be won a WAMMIE for Debut Album of the Year.  Months later he was diagnosed with a vocal nodule that would put his career on hold for the better half of the next year. Shortly after his recovery\, Paul gained national exposure on season eight of NBC’s hit show “The Voice.” Auditioning with Frank Sinatra’s “Fly Me To The Moon” he turned the chairs of both Blake Shelton & Pharrell Williams\, ultimately choosing to work with Pharrell. \nSince his departure from the show\, Paul has been writing and recording music for his sophomore album and touring the country. \nA maximum of 35 guests will be able to enjoy this really special event! \nWe do sail rain or shine. DESCRIPTION:Join us for a 2-hour sail tasting four delicious beers from Port City Brewing Company paired with outstanding oysters from the Chesapeake Bay.  A brewery representative will be on hand to teach how to taste beer in addition to what you are tasting with the oysters.  Brad from War Shore Oysters will be on hand to talk about how he farms these two oysters\, the Battle Creek Oyster from Lower Chincoteague Island\, VA and the War Shore Oyster from Onancock\, VA.  And\, we will learn even more about oysters including how to “shuck responsibly” from Bryan with the Oyster Recovery Partnership. While aboard\, we encourage all guests to raise the sails\, steer the boat or sit back and relax.  Depart Annapolis at 3:00pm\, return at 5:00pm.  Tickets are $56 per adult with a maximum of 44 guests. \nSail with Port City Brewery aboard the Schooner Woodwind\nEnjoy a Complimentary Oyster Shooter Aboard\n\nBeer Tasting Sample Size is 4 oz. for each of the four beers.\nOne oyster shooter included in ticket price (raw oyster with cocktail sauce or hot sauce)\n$5 from every ticket purchased will go to the Oyster Recovery Program.\nAll tickets include a complimentary soft drink and a snack (pretzels\, potato chips\, etc.)\nPrice includes all taxes.\n$3 Happy Hour Beer Prices on all Port City Beers\n$2 Oyster Shooters
