DESCRIPTION:Join us for a two hour sail around the Chesapeake Bay while sampling wonderful wines from France.  Celebrate Bastille Day as the representative from the winery introduces you to four special wines while we are under sail. DESCRIPTION:An Intimate\, Acoustic Show with JESSE RUBEN aboard the Schooner Woodwind for a concert on a beautiful sailing boat\, including a light delicious brunch and a relaxing sail. \nJesse Ruben is a Philly born singer/songwriter currently living in Brooklyn. His songs have been heard on TV shows such as One Tree Hill\, Degrassi\, Switched at Birth\, and Teen Mom. His most recent single\, “This Is Why I Need You”\, reached the top 10 in 12 different countries\, and has been streamed more than 26 million times. It is currently on rotation on the Sirius/XM Coffeehouse Channel. He recently signed a record deal with Universal Music. \nBeyond his music career\, Ruben is highly active in philanthropic endeavors. He has run the NYC Marathon three times for The Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation\, the largest non-profit devoted to spinal cord injuries\, and three times to raise money for Lyme Disease research. He is also the founder of The We Can Project\, an initiative for elementary and middle school students designed to help them discover their passion and give back to their communities. So far\, more than 500\,000 students across the US and Canada have participated. Their primary focus is collecting instrument donations\, repairing and reintroducing them into struggling schools and music therapy programs for veterans. Since their launch\, Music 4 More has donated over 700 instruments to schools and VA hospitals in 13 states. \n \nMusic 4 More accepts instruments in any shape (Currently we are not taking donations of pianos/organs or sheet music). DESCRIPTION:Established in 2007\, the vineyards at Dodon are fortuitously situated on rolling hills just south of Davidsonville\, Maryland. When they began their first experiments with 150 vines\, the goal was clear: to practice sustainable agriculture and produce exceptional wines. As ninth generation custodians of this historic farmland\, and as demanding winemakers\, they are committed to using viticultural practices and winemaking techniques that permit full expression of the unique deep sandy loam ‘Dodon Series Soils’ that lend their wines distinctive aromatics and subtle minerality. \n\n\n\n  \nUsing only grapes grown on their farm\, their vineyard and winemaking techniques emphasize individual attention to each cluster and protecting the quality of the fruit. They believe that deep soils and abundance of Southern Maryland sun are the keys to producing rich\, balanced\, aromatic wines. In other words\, it is the unique qualities of the site that determine the product (“vins de terroir”)\, not a winemaker with a strong stylistic vision (“vins d’effort”). The result is a combination of old world and new world style that is particular to this area of Southern Maryland. \n\n\n\nSchooner Woodwind’s Dinner Cruises are a very casual affair. Courses are served picnic-style and food is presented chilled or at room temperature. You will thoroughly enjoy the event aboard. We really do sail\, so wear soft soled shoes. His music has been featured in shows like “Parenthood\,” “Friday Night Lights\,” “Felicity\,” and “Brothers and Sisters.” He was a frequent member of the house band on “Last Call with Carson Daly\,” where he performed alongside then fellow up-and-comers like Kamasi Washington\, Zane Carney\, Brian Wright\, and stalwarts like Marc Ford and Cordovas front man\, Joe Firstman. In 2012\, Lucca took third place on NBC’s “The Voice\,” earning himself a record deal with coach Adam Levine’s 222 Records. He has toured alongside such artists as Sara Bareilles\, Jonny Lang\, Maroon 5\, Kelly Clarkson\, Rachael Yamagata\, Emerson Hart\, and Gabe Dixon. Lucca currently resides in Nashville with his wife\, Rachel\, their kids Liam and Sparrow\, along with their dog Apple. \nTony Lucca performing aboard the Schooner Woodwind\nEnjoy a light brunch as we cruise to a secluded cove. They will be racing to the Norfolk area\, we will cheer them on till it’s time to go in. \n\n\n \n\n\nWe will be under sail with the schooners (and yes you’ll be sailing on one too). We will not cross the starting line\, but we will be sailing around them all as they come down from Baltimore.\n\nTickets* are $72 per adult and $44 per child and include bottled water\, soft drinks\, and snacks. Since recording his first record in a bathroom over a decade ago\, his intimate style of songwriting\, storytelling\, and DIY touring have earned him a loyal fanbase\, and more than 20 million streams on Spotify. His songs have been heard on Good Morning America\, Jimmy Kimmel\, Army Wives\, General Hospital\, and HBO’s The Leftovers. \nEnjoy a light brunch as we cruise to a secluded cove\, including Apple Cake\, Bacon & Swiss and Artichoke with Red Pepper Quiche Squares and a refreshing fruit salad. DESCRIPTION:Reduced Ticket Price – not including Bagged Lunch (the order has already been placed with our caterer).  Be sure to bring your own lunch to enjoy aboard.  Lunch must be self contained (boxed or bagged) – no buffets or displays will be allowed aboard. \nParticipate in the National Sailing Hall of Fame Classic Wooden Boat Regatta. They have invited the Woodwinds’ to participate in the race in the “Spirit of Tradition Class”. \nThe course is approximately 5.4 NM and takes place in the Severn River. It is a 3 lap race with pursuit style race. Each boat has a rating\, and by the rating they will get a start time. The pursuit style race challenges the competitors to sail through the other race boats to win the regatta. This will be an amazing trip for photography (hint B&W or sepia tone) of these old\, gorgeous boats. \nThis is going to be a fun\, challenging race! Join the crew! \nDeparts Annapolis Waterfront Hotel Dock at 11:00 am and returns to Annapolis Waterfront Hotel Dock at 2:30pm.  Ticket Price includes  soft drinks and bottled water and tax.  Our cash bar includes a selection of Craft Beer\, Wine & Bubbly! \nThe participating boats will be on display on Saturday (other than the Woodwinds).

Two souls – discovering in each other someone to keep safe and sound throughout this adventure of living. On the second day\, they wrote about it; breathing into existence the musical manifestation of love and wonder; pouring from their hearts to yours the magic that lies deep beneath the skin and bones of us all\, waiting to be released. This music is like a raw\, uncut stone with hidden magic. Hold it in your hands\, your hearts\, your souls. Feel the vibration and be healed. \nCaptain Jen: You will love this music!  Back by popular demand\, they are returning for another Memorial Day Sail. Many of the guests aboard were introduced to their music a couple of years ago\, and make this cruise every year. Mimosas and Bloody Marys will be available at our cash bar filled with local craft beer and wine. \nA maximum of 37 guests will be able to enjoy this really special event! \nWe do sail rain or shine. If the musicians cannot play due to the weather\, but we can still sail- we will refund the performance part of the ticket. \nDeparts from the Annapolis Waterfront Hotel. \nThere are no assigned seats. There are no refunds or exchanges unless the captain cancels the cruise due to unsafe conditions.
